Ok, i just bought a set of seats out of a 96 Trans Am. The left track on the driver seat is screwed up, and doesnt like to let the seat move like its supposed to. My question is, could I install a track from a thirdgen seat(like one from an 84 TA) or do i need to find one from another 4th gen seat?

Also, does anyone know how the seat tracks come off the seats? Thanks in advance.

 

I believe I read on one of these posts you can out your old tracks on your fourth gen seats. I assume there should be four 13mm bolts holding the tracks to the seats.
