Shipping cost.....

Wow, I just got a quote on shipping a Ram Air II hood from Hawks to my place, NB, Canada. $320 that is unreal, gonna have to try to lower that somehow.

Gonna have to deal with it probably. It's international, and it costs a lot period. My only suggestion, ship it to someone you know in the states, hopefully within a close distance that you can drive, then go and pick it up.

I work in Shipping/Receiving, and I know that shipping a hood to Canada won't be cheap. First, it's heavy. Second, it's large (oversized). Third, it's international. That makes for a bad combination for you wallet.
