Easy, you will need to take off the cargo pieces. With all of that removed you will see 3 bolts with nuts where the bumper meets the sheetmetal in the rear of the car, take them off. Then you will need to take off your tail lights. There are 5 or 6 black wing nuts on each one in the cargo area where the hatch latch is, take them off and remove the light connectors that attach to the housing of the tail lights. You will have to turn the whole connector with the light bulb about 40* before they will come out. Then remove your licensplate bracket theres only 2 bolts or screws that hold it on. With all of that removed you can look ontop of the bumper cover and see these little plastic or ruber clips. I used a pair of pliers to pull them out. Once you have those removed you will need to get under the rear bumper to find somemore of those clips remove those and you will be finished. I was able to keep some without breaking them and put them back on when I was fully done with the project. Are you adding gfx to your SC? I did that to my SC a year ago
it was fun and interisting to do. The best way to drill the holes for the gfx is to make cardboard templates of actual hole locations on another 85-90 Iroc,Z28,88 SC, or RS. Line them up in the same spot on your can and you should have no problems your project. Heres a pic of my results.
Are you gonna put the CAMARO embelms on the rocker panel gfx? They are no longer available but you can still make them, all you need is the black plastic piece that the emblem goes in. Say you have used Z28 ones, all you have to do is get a knife and pry out the lettering and you will seperate the stick on emblem and have the plastic piece you need. You will need to buy 3 bumper emblems that say CAMARO that were made for the 88 Sport Coupe. Cut off the bowties and trim the emblem to fit the plastic piece and you will have new CAMARO rockerpanel emblems to put onto your car. And plus you will have to bowtie sticker to place on books or anything else you want to put it on. I used mine on my dodge dynasty when I was restoring my camaro and couldnt drive it.
good luck with your project

good luck with your project if you haven't pulled those plastic clips before, the best technique is to use the back of a hammer. just like pulling nails...
alternatively, when a hammer doesn't fit, use a flat screwdriver to pry the little head up a little, then use the screwdriver to push the base against the car while you pull the head with pliers (preferably not needle-nosed)

yah......but i have the sickest sticker ever on my car....this is key to any camaro.......but i can't bring the pic up cuz its too big for the site so i'll have to mess around w/ my scanner.....as for the gfx they are off an IROC so i'm guessing they still have the logos.....i think i'll keep em cuz i alredy have an iroc hood (its a sc).....so i'll finally have completed my F-IROC-Z (f=fake) after i buy rims this summer.......all i care is that it looks good....get a crate 350 after college......as for the bumpers and gfx.......will they fit on an 87 sc? (from 89 iroc)........i dont think i'll have any trouble......just want to make sure before i spend any $$....
