hood question-all ready did a search
okay i searched this but couldnt find anything at all.i have a 91 rs with a 3.1. i got a great deal on it wrecked a while back. i just got back from looking at a hood a guy i know has. its firberglass and looks like the older style z28 hood. the hood itself if brand new and he only wants 125 for it. it has depressions that look like lovers would go in. but at the back of the depression there are slits cut thru the hood. the only question i have is are there more than one type of hood this could be? and could i put blisters on it so that it would look like a 91-92 z28 hood? it seems like i saw a hood like it an pre 85 z a while back that didnt have louvers, it just had the indented part painted black? someone please help me out here before i buy this hood. thanks

sounds like the same hood on my 84' Z28, it has the endents where the louvers would go but don't have them.. don't the blister just go on normal flat hood?

You might try reposting with "hood blisters fit the older style z28 hood"
It 'sounds' like you might have the old functional hood that came with the crossfire injection.
