Door lock clips

i had to put new door locks on my 85 z today and i noticed the little clips that hold the rod to the lock cylinder are missing. is there anything i can i do to get that rod to stay on, or if i have to get new clips can i get them anywhere?

thanks

In the long run the clips are the best bet. I would think that they're still available from GM--if not try the boneyards. While you're in the door, you might consider cleaning and lubing (with white grease), both the door lock mechanisms and window tracks. If you have rattling/noise problmes, check the following:

Regular E-clips should work too. Those are available anywhere.
