Well, the GTA met the hitch & rear end off of a F-250 the other day..


Entire front is gone. bumper supports, fenders, hood, everything up to the frame piece that the radiator sits against.


I am about to buy a 91 Firebird as a parts car; but before I do:


Will the front end up bolt up the same? The fenders?

I have a strong feeling that they are the same, just cosmetically different. And since I'll be taking all the bumper mounting materials as well, it should work.


Has this been done before? (Search is broke...)

seems like i saw an 83 bird with a 91-92 front clipin someones sig the other day, for the life of me tho i cant remeber his name. what drew my attention to it was the hole car was black but the front bumper cover was primer grey. the fenders and hood was still black tho so im gonna bet that its the same fenders and hood just a differnt nose.

Yes it will work just fine, but youll have to rewire the fog lights and turn signals, as theyre in different places. Youll also have to use the headlights from the donor car as well, as the light buckets are different too.

 

any parts from the 91 parts car you don't need? like say the GFX if it has them? I'm in need of those parts....

 

I'm pretty sure you're talking about Firebird 383, I don't think his car is an 83, probably just his screen name referring to a 383 engine throwing you off
