Question about 91-92 TA Convertible Seats?

I have a 91 TA Convertible w/ cloth seats. The seats themselves are the regular TA seats. But when I see some 91-92 TA Convertibles I see that they have the leather GTA seats. Was there any GTA Convertibles made between 91-92? Or was the leather GTA seats an option?

sorry, but no such thing as a GTA convertible.

http://www.gtasourcepage.com/Authentication.html

scroll about halfway down the page (just under the 2 pictures of the SPI pics) and you'll see. Frankie knows his stuff, so i'd believe him.

and i've seen a few T/A verts that had leather, but i don't know if it was standard or optional.

Not true either. GTA's were available in convertibles in 1989 ONLY. Any other convertible you see will be a Firebird or Trans Am.

My 92 Convertible had the standard TA seats, while others Ive seen have had factory GTA seats, which were optional. I wouldnt put leather in my vert if you paid me, they would heat up in the summer beyond belief. I went with 2 tone cloth 4th gen seats instead.

But to answer your question, no 91-92 convertibles were GTA's. Only 1989.

my '92 conv has the GTA type leather seats.

they may get hotter in the summer, but it also allows for more days to go top-down in the fall/spring.

i had mine recovered in a synthetic while in FL, and it was very nice. unfortunately, what i didn't realize is that living up north, its fakeness becomes much more apparent when it gets below 30°

sorry, yeah, that's what i meant. he said 91-92 and i wasn't even thinking about the '89s (which are some niiiiiiiiice cars). but you're right: no '91/92 GTA verts, only '89 verts.

and by the way, did you ever find a replacement spoiler for the vert? i'm still searching..............
