Need help getting my bird back on the road!

Hi! I own a 92 firebird w/ 305 auto. I rearended someone last july and it messed up the front of it pretty bad. The bumpercover, absorbing plastic stuff, the impact bar, and the hood all got mushed in on the passenger side, also the light was broken, but the motor for the light is still good.

Now i need help with getting it back togheter for summer!(love driving with the Ttops off) I have been looking at NEW replacement front bumper covers for my car and found it to be $600+ for it, which i find to be to much. But ive also seen the 90 transam front bumper cover for $279, and i like the looks of that one ALOT more then the 92 (IMHO). I was just wondering how difficult it would be to switch on the 90 transam front? i hear something about the lights being different, which would be very easy to get as Camaro Heaven is right down the road from me and they have TONS of firebird and camaro parts kicking around, any truth to this? Also could someone help me with Part #s from Year One? i see which ones they have, but arnt sure which ones are correct. Would like it to look something like this:

Oh! would it come with ground effects on it? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Help out a fellow 3rdgen owner!

i think you should keep the 92 front end , the cars look pretty cool, they only made that front bumper for 2 years so thats a pretty cool thing.

Here's a Formula nose on eBay- complete with the impact bar. You could go that way or just watch eBay for a 91-92 T/A nose. Buying used is a lot cheaper.

If you decide to go with the 85-90 nose, both eBay and the TGO classifieds usually have em. Of course, putting a different year nose on your car is just wrong...
