console pad return spring
Hello everyone,
Sorry, but another trivial question. I'm in the process of replacing my console pad, and have run into a delima with return spring that attaches to the u-shaped bar at the bottom of the pad mount. Mine appears to be deformed, and the cause of the my plastic reinforcement breaking. I'm just wondering, is there any way to remove and replace the spring without removing the whole console? Furthermore, is it really necessary to have this spring? Thanks in advance.
