Door panel fabric shrinkage
Well I doubt I'll have a pic of the problem until spring, so hopefully I can explain this well enough...
On the passenger door of my GTA (going by memory now), there's a metal trim running vertically from the armwrest to the plastic windowsill. Towards the front of the car from that trim there is a soft perforated black fabric covering, backed by some kind of white cotton-ish stuff. Well, on that door the fabric looks to have shrunk a little and has pulled back from the trim, revealing a noticable white slash in an otherwise black interior.
Does this sound repairable at all? I'd hate to have to replace the whole panel since finding an identical panel would be a nightmare and I'd like to keep it as original as possible. Thanks guys, my apologies if this is to vague...
