you mean a normal hatch lock ?

well about every car that didn't have the pulldown motor , lol , I would say like 80% of them or so , just find your normal V6 beat to **** camaro SC in a junkyard and grab it from there (no clue if it's a direct bolt in , I seem to remember reading that it's not).

I've always had a hard time finding a non-electric one. I do have one on the way though from a TGO member. And I too remember reading that its not a direct swap, so I'll probably have to fab something up.

I have an 85 TA that does not have the pull down motor. I would expect that anything 85 or older should be a safe bet.

82-85 cars didn't have the pull down hatch. However, they have an extra bracket welded in for the mount. You can't just get a 82-85 latch and bolt it up in place of your hatch motor.

Heres a pic of my manual release. You can see it has a bracket that the release bolts onto. If I recall correctly, the pull down unit doesnt have the bracket, but I do know it has 3 widely spaced holes for the unit to mount. I'm pretty sure you could make your unit go all the way down and drill some holes into the guieds and put some bolts thur and bolt it down to make it think its a regular 82-85 release. BTW that silicone was to spot dust from entering my hatch area, you can tell by the dirt lol.
