decal removal?
decal removal?
I just a new thirdgen thats in really nice shape, except for the door decals. The paint looks great, the decals are just dried out and ratty looking. Is there a way to remove the decals and stripes without messing up the paint? The crusty decals aren't something ic ant live with, they just bother me. Any ideas? Thanks.

The only "do-it-yourself" way i can think of to take those off is to get a flat, very sharp razor blade and just slide the edge under the sticker. This has worked for me on everything else i've taken stickers off of, but i haven't taken them off a car before.

Heat gun or hair dryer.
There is a "stripe eraser" made by 3M that hooks to a drill that works great, but try heat first to avoid the cost of an eraser.
