Spoilers interchangeable?

I was at the junkyard for the first time yesterday and i saw this sweet gunmetal trans am. The whole front end beat to h*ll but all the body behind the firewall is fine(right t top is off so interior is crap too.) I'm pretty sure i'm getting the side view mirrors to replace mine, and i saw that it has a nice looking wing on the back. My car is an 84 berlinetta and im not sure of the exact year of this trans am, but its a thirdgen like mine, and i was wondering if i could just take the spoiler or would i have to get the whole hatchback installed into my car? Are they even interchangeable easily? It has "honeycomb" rims if that helps you figure out what car i'm talking about. I might head back there in a few days and get the VIN number off that and 2 camaros that look good for parts. I'll post the Vin number when i get it if you want it

which wing is it? the wraparound or the gullwing pedistal mount? the wraparound uses bolts and welded on clips to stay on. it would be hard to get it to work without just taking the whole hatch. if it's the gullwing pedistal mount then it will fit on anything. you may hafta fill in some holes or drill new ones. my brother even put one of those on his 93 eclipse and it looks sweet.

Remove the rear decklid panel and get it, too...that way you won't have to screw around with welding up holes.

I finally caught that junkyard owner, and he's not cool. He wouldn't let me get a mirror off any of his camaros because the doors werent messed up, he wouldnt let me get the spoiler without the whole hatch, wont let my brother get seats out of this car because he wants to sell the whole body. Only offered us red seats from a camaro. My brothers car is blue with blue interior, red aint gonna match crap. I guess you can't blame the guy for trying to make a living tho. If i knew that Abra wasn't gonna get my berlinetta decal and pinstriping on the bumper, I would have used the $1300 for junkyard parts, bondo, and a paintjob.
