You have got to be kidding me right? Not to be harsh or anything, you obviously didn't do a search cuz this topic has been covered literally thousands if times.

Im not trying to be a hard ***.

To answer your question, YES, they will fit with no prob, they will bolt right in. The only prob you may have is if the 4th gen seats are power, and yours arent, and you want to take advantage of it.

Next time try and use the search feature a little better.

Don't feel too bad, I was wondering the same thing after reading his first post so I hit the search button and tried some things.

First I ran a search for "do 4th gen seats bolt up" and got 11 results back:
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sea...der=descending

Then I ran a search for "do 4th gen seats bolt in" and got the same 11 results.

So I just tried "4th gen seats" and got 85 results back.

How about "4th generation seats"? 26 back.

Anybody wanna help me here? I can't find a string that DOESN'T come up with at least one or two or 3 results that answer the question.

Oh, here's one. "I wear pink slippers in public showers" doesn't seem to return any 4th gen seat info.

A total of (12) 14mm fasteners for both the front & rear seats are all that need to be removed. And they bolt right as stated in all previous POSTS.

Hey hes just tryin to find info dont give him a hard tim. But yea I put some grey leather from a 99 maro in my RS a couple weeks ago, and it was easy as hell, worst problem was getting the rear seat belt holders out cause they had some thread lock or somethin on them. I even changed the tracks on mine, cause i didnt want power drivers seat cause it sat up to high, and everything just bolts right in place. Its basically 12 bolts and 8 screws for the seat belt holsters. If you can wash it you shouldnt have a problem. Dont have any pics of mine yet, but they look real tight and there a hell of alot more comfortable and sporty feeling...all i need now is some rims and an Ls1/T56 combo ..someone give me money..

Then somebody replaced the stock nuts. Stock is 13mm.

I'm not even aware of a nut out there that has the proper metric thread with a 14mm head instead of 13, but I suppose they could exist.

my seats are not power.....if i were to pick up a set of 4th gens that were power then what would i do? hook them up to power if its possible.....or if not how do they manually move....is there a lever on them too like manual ones?

you would have to run wiring to them so they would work. the seats move just like ours if they are manual.

There's another thread going right now on the same question. I think it's headlined "power seats". If you don't want power, don't buy power 4th gens. If you do, and don't have power now, its easy enough to run the wiring. Check that other post (cause I'm too lazy to write the same thing twice )

Most 4th gens have power drivers, especially leather. I got mine and decided I didnt wanna sit up that high, so I just changed the tracks. Also the 4th gens dont have the little plastic covers over where the bolt to the floor..you could probably drill holes and put them on but it's really easy to change the tracks, just disconnect the springs and move the tracks so you can get to the front nut and the the rear nut. Good luck
