Almost finished with dash swap

I will post some pics soon but I need a little help. When it is mounted, the spot at the very back under the windshield is very ugly. What did you other guys do to cover that up or fabricate something to cover it up?

what year dash is going in? m4 4th gen one covers up just fine with the dash pad cut right

It is going in to my 83. It had a few brackets broken so I had to make due with what I had. I think the bracket above the air bag is destroyed. I think I cna come up with something if no one else ran into this problem.
