Engine: 355 SBC
Transmission: 700R-4
What is the deal with my car?
Is it just me, or does anyone else have this problem? When I got my car, I noticed that my side view mirrors are black and the rest of the car is red. Does anyone else have different color sideview mirrors? Is this common on a particular year of car????

was that available as an option from the factory? i was thinking about doing that because the previous owner of the car managed to wax the car over the years, but missed the driver side mirror. so i had a sweet faded, pink looking mirror. i just sprayed duplicolor bright red over it though.

I thought the non-remote outside mirrors were black and all of the mirrors with the remote mirror (electric or cable) were painted body color...

Car: 1983 Firebird S/E
82-83 Trans am's had black mirrors and spoiler as STANDARD equipment. To get them in body color was an option. S/E's had body color as Standard equipment.
