glass t's breaking while off?

i have that factory ttop bag or whatever that has hooks so you store them in the hatchback as you drive....the way you have to lay them they hang over....has anyone ever had them break from hitting a big bump and them bouncing and breaking? im real sketchy on taking them off alot of the time....i don't like to leave them at home in case i want to reseal my car up in case it rains or i have to leave the car in a parking lot for a long period of time

I put them on the back seats that are folded down. Then i put a towel between the t-tops so they don't hit each other.

The T-tops stay in place as long as you don't get sideways.

I have the Bose speakers back there with the fold up cover thing, so that supports them. I remember a while ago, someone was making 4th gen style t-top holders. Did those ever get finished and sold?

My T-Top bag has a flap that goes between the panels to prevent rubbing. If you put them in there right and strap them down you shouldn't have any trouble. However, I am sure that if you hit a big enough bump it is possible to break them.

I wouldn't mind getting a spare set made out of Lexan to keep in the car, while my glass ones stay at home.

As long as you have them strapped down securely they shouldn't break unless you go over a cliff or off a really big drop, and then I think you would have more to worry about rather than the t-tops.
