does the rear hatchback adjust

ok on my 89 z my hatch back sits off centered it is closer on one side than the other and makes my spoiler look gaped.is the glass hatchback adjustable in any way.....the car has never been wrecked

There are 4 bolts at the top of the hatch, two on each side. Loosen those with I think a 15 mm wrench, it's been a while since I did it, so it may be different. Anyway, you can loosen those a little bit, realign the hatch and tighten them back.

Check the hinges it may be cracked like and the dealer doesn't sell them anymore so I had to get used hinges.

Depending how far and how long (time) it's been off centered; you may cause a leak when you move it. So look at the seal contact area. Also the outer bolts/nut seem to rust more compared to the inner two. Take a close look before removing, if rust can be seen (from interior hinge side) get some from a junk yard or something, before you start. Depending on how much rust; you may never be able to tighten them due to the bolts index'd shape is rust'd away. I've ran into to the bolt rusted deal a short time ago when I removed the metal trim part to repaint them. It's an easy job.
