help me with wireing??

help me with wireing??

i think i got this but i just want to douple check. the black wire is ground i just connect it to something metal, so the orange and white wire connects to the 2 wires going into my light now. does it matter what one connect to what wire???

You are wiring up the dome light in your overhead console? What are the two white wires you had in your schematic? Where do they come from?

no i am takeing off the lil dome light and putting on a overhead console, the 2 white wire come from someplace in that dash and go to the dome light i have now

Transmission: autos
ok. if it is the same as mine then it goes like this, white with the black stripe (ground) white (12 volt) those are the ones in your car now, the new console goes like this, Orange (constat 12 volt power, for the map light and dome light so they work on switches, this will have to be run from the "pwr accessory" in your fuse box, white (12 volt power) black (ground)
