how do i get spilled paint out of the interior carpet? when my brother had the car he had a bottle of red touch up paint & the paint got spilled & spilled on the carpet the paint spot is fairly big because it spilled between the back seat & the seatbelt thingy...any suggestion? ideas? thanks in advance~cristy

paint thinner? test somewhere like under the rear seats first tho to make sure it wont disolve the carpet fibers or something. also try that carpet cleaner from turtle wax, forget the name, something like InteriorI. has a brush attachment built into it. gets rid of stains very well. but you'll need something strong then that for the paint, paint thinner might be a good idea. maybe nail polish remover as well.

just test before u try, id hate to see either of my ideas make a bigger mess.

 

the interior 1 but turtle wax is really good at getting stuff out, its in yellow and green aerosole can with a yellow brush on the top

 

what about green out or somehting like that
