4th gen seats--more distance?

I have a set of 4th gen power seats coming soon. Can anyone tell me if they will have more room in them than the 3rd gen? I would like it if I can get an extra inch or two distance. It especially means a lot to me because I am in Australia and the car has been converted and there is less room on the other side of the car.

Actually it is about the same as the 3rd gen seats. Sorry but I think you'll have about the same amount of room as before.

Could you just cut off the old bolts on the floor and put new bolts in 2 inches further back?

Might be easier to see if new mounting holes can be drilled in the seat tracks for more clearance. Just a idea if there is room.
