wiper switch broke?

wiper switch broke?

i broke the wiper switch on my steering column do i have to replace the whole steering column or is there a way to fix it. please help cause i got a quote on replacing the column and they said 350.

AS FAR AS I KNOW YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO REPLACE JUST THE SWITCH.

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
The switch is replaceable. You'll have to pull the steering wheel and the turn signal parts to get to it. Mine was around $80.

to get the wheel off .. a steering wheel puller
to get off the lock plate.. a c clip holds it so a screwdriver can get it off .. to get it on you need a lock plate compressor .. $9.99 at jcwhitney

Forgot about the springloaded plate. I got the tool from autozone for $7.
