WEIRD leak from visors, please help!

im getting this weird leak on the drivers side thats coming from a screw on the black mounting peice for the sun visors. it only happens when i accelerate hard or if i stop fast and its only if it has been raining a long time while sitting and then i drive it. its also leaking on top of the passenger side window sometimes, i have no clue where these are coming from but i need to get it fixed because ill be gettin a headliner this weekend. all the rubber around the t-tops are good and i re-sealed the windshield and i had to re-install the drivers side rubber around the front of the window with new glew.

Are you getting a brand new headliner or just getting the old one recovered. Either way just take your headliner out and then see if you can find where the leak is coming from thats by the visor. On the passenger side window you may just need to take the door panel off and adjust the window up a bit so it seals better. It doesn't take much so just adjust a very small amount.

at the moment i dont have any headliner, thats why its weird, i see no water at all except on the black visor mounting piece. ill try adjusting the windows this weekend, would this cause the windows to hit the t-tops when i close the door? the window always hits the t-top pretty hard and after a while it makes the t-top kinda loose.

Well the t-tops must be leaking somewhere at the front it sounds like. Adjusting the windows shouldn't mess with anything, like I said it will be a very small amount, just try to find out where its leaking and just do that end of the window. You should only have to adjust like 1/8-1/4" or so.

Try adding some more weatherstrip sealer right infront of the t-bar where it splits that channel above the windshield.
I was getting the same leak but my visors were out being recovered and I noticed it. Fixed now. Hope this helps.
