I own an 83 Trans Am.

I am not sure about firebirds, but with camaros any thirdgen camaro fender will work. It should be the same with the firebird. The fenders never changed they only changed the gfx and the front clips. Good luck on finding what you need!

I think any TA fender from '82- '90 will work. GTA's fender should bolt on, BUT there is no fender extractor(air vent). The GTA's used the same fender as Formulas.

I can say this, mine is an 85 and I have two new fenders, one from an 88 and one from a 91. Even the non TA's have the body line to accept gfx (just no pre-drilled holes if they are bolt on).

Any 82-92 Firebird/Trans Am fender will fit, but the T/A's had 2 different styles of fender vents. The 82-84 had a larger vent which was made smaller in 85-90 so it wouldn't be covered up by the 85-up ground effects. If you want originality you'll need 82-84's but if you just want a matched pair, any year will do.
