seat reversal question

This maybe a dumb question but I need to know before I try this.I have a1990 firebird with a pretty bad drivers seat.It is so bad that the metal is poking out on the left side.I don't have money for used or new seats or to get them recovered at the monment,so I thought about changing the two front seats since the passenger is in better condition. Are there any problems that I may have besides the seatbelts?Any help will be app.

The seat tilt lever will be up against the console too.

Couldnt you just disassemble the seats and swap the hardware?

Why swap hardware? Just swap out all of the foam and material. I tried it and it worked. Then I bought my 4th gen seats. All of the material is the same on both sides. The frame back is different for the pass and drivers side. Just my .02.
