i was wondering if the symptom i have is that of a window motor, or something else... normally if a window motor is going bad, the motor will start "dragging" going up or down, or so my experience has been, but if it just stops, is that an idication of the same thing? sometimes i will put it partially up and in a couple of more minutes, attempt to put it up the rest of the way and no joy. then i have to wait again, and it'll go right up... this is on the driver door, been replaced once before, not impossible that it needs to be replaced again... just wanna ask before i do it... is there a relay in the system somewhere? thanks for any replies and/or help...

I had a similar problem. SOmetimes the window would work, other times not.
The problem was a frayed wire. It was rubbing against something near the door hinges.
Maybe try playing with the power window wires a little when it wont go up/down.

 

Do yall know where I can find an AC Delco window motor? I was hoping to avoid some piece of crap rebuilt one.
