I have a quarter-sized dent about an inch from the windshield and about five inches in from the A pillar. If I remove the sun visor, I'll pretty much be able to feel the dent through the hole, I think. Any advice on how to proceed?

Well every dent has a crown around it, so even if you get it pushed out you will still have a crown where the dent was, but it probably wouldn't be that noticeable. Maybe somebody here is familiar with PDR and can help you out more than I.

This is assuming you want to pop the dent back out and not hurt the paint correct??

James, seek out a paintless dent removal person. "Dent Wizzard", "Dents Disappear", "Dent Doctor". These people can do an amazing job. Call around to bodyshops and/or used car dealers and see if you can get a reccomendation.

Don't atempt it yourself. For $20-$30, it can be virtually erased. I believe one of the best schools for this is located somewhere in Kansas too.

Thanks. Actually, we've just had hail storms (our roof is being replaced), so there are some 'dent removers' in town.
