I just installed some '97 Trans Am seats in my IROC, and have just about finished gathering all the spare parts I need to finish off the interior.

The tan on the TA seats is a different shade from the tan in my IROC, and I knew that beforehand. And since the headliner I nabbed ( T-top car ) and the extra interior plastic are red to begin with, I'll be dying everything anyway...including the gray GTA molded door panels I scored at the local boneyard for CHEAP

Does anyone know offhand what the color code is for the 4th gen tan interiors? I don't have access to a tan interior equipped 4th gen right now, and would like to go ahead and order the correct SEM color coded dye for the panels.


Any help is greatly appreciated.


And ANYONE Considering new seats, recovering their old ones etc should DEFINITELY go 4th gen. I actually sat in alot of the Camaro seats, and the ones before '98 or so didn't feel as comfortable as the different design Firebird / TA seats of the same years. In fact, the cloth seats I have look ALOT like the "Ultima" GTA seats a friend has in his car, minus the extra adjustment controls.

It's a HUGE difference in comfort now....I find that trips are taking longer and longer to complete now
