What is color my interior?
What color is my interior?
What is the name of the light brown color used in a 90 firebird's interior? I need to order some things and I dont know if its tan, light brown, buckskin, doeskin, camel, saddle... bla bla bla.
Also, what's the best place for interior parts. I looked at thirdgenrecource.com and they looked good. Any better places?
Thanks,
Chris

No one place seems to sell every piece needed for the interior except GM parts direct. But you have to paint all the plastics because they all come uncolored.

Heh, heh, heh.....tan is SO much fun to match.
I've just about finished restoring my 89 Iroc with the Medium beechwood. All I can say is that the colors from GM are not the same as from ACC, and are not the same as from most other vendors. Problem is they all use the same names...Beechwood, Doeskin, Camel...etc. I'm not sure exactly what was offered in the 90 Ponchos, but all I can suggest is time online and on the phone talking to vendors.
What interior parts do you need? I have some extras, and I always keep my eyes open on the classifieds...here and just about everywhere else. Do you have pics?
The first step would be to find out what exactly YOUR color is. Check over on the history/resto forum, or run your RPO on the decoder. You can also contact Okfoz. He's a Mod on the T-shirt forum. He's got TONS of Poncho info.
