The guy charged me $300 bucks. That was to install the covers that I had already purchased from Hawk's. I don't know what kind of padding was used. I said "can you re-pad the seats while you're at it?" ....he said "sure".

Looks really sweet. As far as some people insulting the stock look I am glad some people are restoring them in a stock manner. Got to have some third gens that look like a brand new car from the dealer even if for nothing more than historical significance.

I don't think it'd be that hard to do by yourself. I've been planning on doing this maybe later this year. I'd just buy several yards (it should come on a roll sorta like fabric) of 1/2" high density upholstry foam and some spray adhesive. Cut your pieces to fit over the areas that need some extra, and glue it in place. Test fit the covers and add as needed. Some 1/4" medium density foam would probably come in handy for smoothing out the rough spots and final fit. Then all you've gotta do is attach the covers using hog rings and hog ring pliers, which I think Bruce supplies with the covers.

Anybody have pics of the leather look-alike covers Bruce sells? I think Shannon was putting them in Raif, but I never heard anything else about it.

Later,
Harry
