I need to bang out a minor dent on the passengers side front fender of my 87 T/A. According to the Chilton manual, to remove the fender, it states that I must first remove the hood. Is it ok to just unbolt the passenger side hood to fender mount and leave the hood on while removing the fender ?? Anyone ever done this or forsee any problems doing this ? Thanks!

 

Yes you can just unbolt the passenger side, but its advised to prop hood open with a board while doing so.
