Many people have asked this and in truth it would be quite straight forward but being in the Uk it does pose a problem.

Missed that location in your post, sorry. Too bad though, sure would like a set. That is one VERY NICE dash/console layout.

Is shipping from the UK to the US super expensive? I dunno, I think that could be a big selling point tho, "Hand crafted in the United Kingdom, home of some of the stylish roadsters of the modern era" It's sort of like all those import guys who buy stuff "from japan", we could have stuff imported "all the way from England!"

He has a point, may not be as expensive as one might think since the package would be small and light. What do you say powermite?

Looks like a B&M Megashifter with the handle changed out for a shifter ball.

Does that red button open the door? I assume you have a popper of some sort...how difficult was that?

Not that hard really. The way the system works is the remote reciever grounds a relay which powers the solenoid. So I just put a wire tap on the ground wire for the relay, ran it to the switch, and then grounded it. The hard part is installing the solenoid, wiring, and relay. Once that's done any modification is pretty easy. The same principle applies for the emergency button, which I put in the trunk. When you see some of the older hot rods with shaved door handles where they push a button below the door to open it, same thing.

My interior is stock (85 TA) at this point, just planning on beginning some modifications to it later this summer. Looking for ideas mostly right now, and maybe a set of those trim rings powermite.

Hello Everybody. I dont have my car yet. Ill be getting it around august. Im planning on getting a black 1992 Camaro RS. After i get it im going to make it look all pretty. Im going to black out the headlights and taillights. Then im going to get a Racing wing on the back, ive seen them on some camaros i like them alot. then im going to tint the windows. Then i will eventually get dual chrome tail pipes. I know what i want the outside to look like but i dont know about the interior yet. SO LETS SEE NOW. SHOW OFF YOU INTERIORS. LETS SEE WHO HAS A NICE INTERIOR. COME ON DONT BE SHY!!!

DAMN you had me scared for a second!! I was thinking here we go again with this gay r*cer sh*t again. I personaly like the deck lid spoiler better but the 91- 92 Z spoiler is nice. As for my 89 IROC interior i want to keep it stock looking. I really like cloth seats for some reason. I need a new set of grey front seats that have camaro stiched in it. I hade grey interior door handles/ arm rests but i got a pair of black ones from my 86 IROC they really made a big differance!! I am in the proceces of swaping my dash from my 86 IROC to my 89 because my 89 dash is cracked and has a 115 speedo and the 86 dash in mint and has a 145 speedo. Other than that I want a Upper center counsel.

Kevin

Can anyone tell me the quality of Mrmikes interiors? I was wondering if the Super-Sport style is good quality leather. I absolutely hate sitting on “phleather” on a hot summer day, very gorse.

well, here's some pics of the interior of the car i'm in the PROCESS of buying....so technically not mine yet, but very soon to be (oh, and the carpet looks kinda purple in these pics, but its just the camera being weird. they're the same gray as the seats)

thank you,

I sweated for a few weeks coming up with a design that would look "modern" but have the class of our 80's cars... I found that the complecated designs really took away from the rest of the car and was distracting. Too plain was too close to stock... I also wanted to keep the essence of the original design in the seats so if you look at a stock set of "GTA" ultima seats and mine you would notice that the pattern is the same, the ONLY difference is I added the Gray and yellow sections. with the embroidery... I was afraid that the Formula WS6 on the headrest WITH the Firebird on the seat back would be too much, but I really thing they lend themselves well to one another.

That sounds like a line of but it really is the truth.

Get this, My car is an 87 Formula, the seats came from a 83 Trans Am Parts Car, SINCE that design seat did not appear in firebirds until 1987, they had to be from 87-92. When I looked at the data sheets under the seat they said "87" so they are probably from an 87 POSSIBLY an early 88 car. So everything is from 1987.

I love Beechwood!!!!!!

Everything but the dash is NEW! ...and the console.

I ...."might" look into a fourth gen console. I have a few unique ideas for it, if i get the time.
