Hey guys I just recently bought a 91 formula off my neighbor who got into a accident. in the process it needed a new door so i got one from the yard I put it on and all and now it shuts and closes fine but it sticks out? im thinking maybe its the frame part where the door hinges bolt on. I dunno? all I know is that the hinges are good. Can anyone help me out?

How much does it stick out? Was the fender removed? Could be the fender is not aligned right? What was the accident like?

 

he got broadsided and and yes the fender is off. Its the door cause it doesnt line up with the 1/4 panel

 

Maybe the latch bolt is bent? Can you remove it and see if the door will close more?

 

i think its the frame part where the hinges blot up i think it got pushed in a little. could this be fixed?

 

Yes it can be replaced but this is one job I would take to the shop and have done because if you are off 1 inch it would mean a lot of work to fix it and it may need to be pulled on a frame machine
