what is this?????

Sorry the pic isn't very good. I was wondering what went right below my cigarette lighter in my 91 Z28 convertible. It is the two holes in the pic. I appreciate any help you could give me.

Axle/Gears: 3.73 / 3.45

I believe that is where the Rear Window Defrost switch is located.

Transmission: Rebuilt 700r w/ Transgo Shift Kit

Well, on my 86, that's where the defroster switch is supposed to go, but I'm not sure for a Vert.
