I remember starting a thread about this months ago. Well today im just sitting in my computer room online surfing JEGS catalog looking for some fitting for my new Carb fuel line. I turn on the Tv and started flipping channels and I come across the show "TRUCK". The guy is doing all this frabrication to this truck: Suicide Doors, Shaving Door Handles, and a few other nick nats. Well maybe this is what you can use to suicide your doors if you want and shave the door handles. BTW is only $50.00 more than the hinge repair gets that is sold and you would not have to worry about them sagging doors prone to Camaro's.

Ive already looked into it as i was SO CLOSE to doing this. There is much more than just 'buying hinges'

Re-Enfocement of the area where the new hinge goes must be done, welding and filling of where the old hinges and latch mechanism must be done, striker pins need to be installed, then re-enforced, Door panel mods are needed as well as door handle linkage re-locations and modding.

It can be done, it just all depends on how skillfull you are or how much coin flow you have to pay a shop to do it.
