Hi i finally got this working, ive been reading on this site for a long time just not been able to post. I have a 1984Z28 that i put a 350c.i. in and a Th350 tranny with B&M street or strip shift kit and a few other mods. I was wondering if the center console in a 4th gen Camaro will fit in my 3rd gen with the stock 3rd gen dash>? Thanks

 

You will need to trim the console off, but the only 4th gen consolde that you can use is a manual. The reason you can not use a auto console, is the shifter is mounted in a different area than a 3rd gen.

Umm, I don't think any 4th gen console will work in a Camaro without getting a Firebird HVAC and Radio pod.

 

it will fit, just a little modification is needed. you need to cut the old console at the front, so you can remove the console part, but keep the radio section.
