seat belt guide?

i have an 86 firebird and i just purchased it. prior owner put seat covers on. he removed the head rest mounted seat belt guide. i found some at a junkyard, how do i get the seat belt through them? the lower seatbelt clip (where it meedts door frame) is way to big to get through ad it does not come into smaller peices, (that i can tell) if anyone yhas anny advice on how to do this it would realy help. thanks in advance

That's funny, mine have a slit in them that closes up when you bolt it to the headrest. I don't know if this will work but try to find a set off of a late 80's Firebird. I know they changed the design for '91+ '92. I know mine are original and they have a slit in them.
Hope this helps.
