Hey i just got into an accident and I need to replace the front bumper cover of my normal front end... and the passenger side fender... I was just starting to put money into this car, I want to get the Trans Am style front end... I enclosed pictures.. Now what im asking is... Do I have to get fenders for the Trans am so they will have the perfect fit, or can i keep the same fenders I have? Please let me know

 

You need to get TA fenders if you want the air scoops on the side of the fender. You can use any TA fender from 82 - 90. 82 - 84 will require you to drill holes as they won't be predrilled for 85 and later side skirts. If you don't want the scoop, then you can use the fender you have and just drill the holes for the side skirts. Your car would look like an 88 base firebird with the optional aero skirting. Also the insert that goes into the scoop is longer on 82 - 84 TA's then the 85 and later insert.

 

You can use your current fenders!
