4th gen auto console

i know its going to take alot of modifying, i have done searches under every possible name. my question is, does anyone know who the infamous "one who made it work" is? i have some questions i would like to ask him/her.

Well I'm one of them...

You have two options.

1) Relocated the stock shifter lower and to the right

2) Use a 4th gen shifter

Personally I went with option 1.

Considering I have both in my garage (an 4th gen auto console top and the shifter that was underneath it), does that mean I will have less modifications to do if I use both parts and cut the riser plate out?
