Seating Question
Seating Question
I was wondering how a third gen compares to a fourth gen in terms of seating postion. My impression of a forth gen was pretty negative; I couldn't imagine using clutch seated like that. Is a third gen more "conventional" or is it the same?

My girlfriend has a 95 firebird, and I hate driving it. I'm not a big guy(5'6" tall) but I feel cramped in it. When I have the seat where i can reach the pedals easily, I have to bend my arm back to reach the radio/hvac controls. That, and my arm has to be kinda straight out to put my hand on the shifter. It's just not comfortable for me at all. Maybe I just drive funny

You guys are lucky being on the left hand side of the car to drive. I am in Australia and the drivers side is your passenger side. You have less room on that other side. I suppose you havent considered looking at the room that your passenger has. I have new 4th gen seats arriving today as a matter or fact to help me get that extra 3 inches of room.
