When I redid my car this past Jan. I looked on the net and a few detail shops here in town, one of the better deals-maybe no the best deal-was outta JCWhittney. I got the Soft Seal kit that did the entire car, took around 4 hours or so I guess to remove the old garbage and install the new stuff.

Alot of people I talked to said that the Soft Seal brand was very comparible to the factory stuff. I had to readjust windows and get used to shutting the doors a little harder since the old stuff was so worn out, and I did notice the car was a wee bit quieter on the interior, bout as quite as a normal 1/4mi. car can be anyways. I'm lookin at the catalog right now and is as follows:
Door weather strip-$99.95/pr.
Roof-rail strip, hardtop only $92.95/pr.
Outer belt weather strip $59.95/pr.
I reused my hatch seal since it was alright, but you can buy new stuff for around $25-$45 depending where you go and what you get.
The worst ones to replace for me by far are the roof-rail seal, the seal that the window rolls up into that follows the roof and front pillar. You have to tear it back to expose the numerous screws holding it in place to remove the metal channel, I guess you could leave it in the car, but it sure made cleaning it up for the new stuff lots easier since I could lay it on the bench and chisel the old stuff out, so the new stuff would fit properly, other than that it is'nt too bad. You'll have toremove the door panels to get at the 2 10mm bolts that push the door glass tight against the outer belt seal, you have to loosen these 2 bolts so you can pull the window towards the interior of the car to remove the 2-7mm bolts holding that seal in place, the rest of them are fairly easy to get at. Hope this helps ya.

Check out this place.

Check out http://www.1aauto.com

I've bought all new seals and belt moldings for my TA through there. Good product and alot cheaper than the dealer.

I've yet to buy any w'strip that fits like factory. I have SoffSeal door w'strip and it sucks. It's rock hard as compared to (new) OEM, doesn't fit properly on the ends (it's too long) and the molded ends are just chunks of rubber. The factory seal ends are molded around a plastic piece to reinforce it, SoffSeal has nothing reinforcing the screw holes. it's a hole poked in thin rubber.
JCWhitney sell crap as well. I ordered the belt w'strip for the doors from them, they are now in the landfill somewhere. They came nowhere close to fitting properly. The instructions suggest 'drilling new holes'... ha. The repo. hatch seal from YearOne... not even a clue what car it's for but, it sure as hell isn't an f-body (yes, I did order the right part too).
If you're going to get new w'strip, buy OEM while you still can. It lasted this long...
GMPartsDirect wholesales OEM parts, shipping can be a little rough but, most parts still come shipped equal to or lower than repo. crap. You can find all your p/n's if you check my sig.
