92 gfx

my car has never had gfx and when at the bone yard i got gfx off a 92z and well the **** had a bracket welded to the side of the car well the question here is there a substitute antother type of angle to your car to mount the gfx

I am guessing you are referring to the bracket that holds the pieces under the doors. And yes, you are right, there is no way to fasten it if you have a sport coupe type car or one that never had any F/X at all. You might be able to weld the bracket if you cut the one out of the donor car, but talk about a major hassle...

You can buy that bracket from Classic Industries for like $35 or so. Just get their Camaro (or Firebird) catalog.

dern prolly gunna have to drill them buggers of the donor and re-weld to my car GTA-SPD thanx for the tip on classic i e-mailed them today see what kind of reply i get

You can attach the rocker panel gfx to your car without the bracket on the SC. It will hold up fine as long as noone steps on the gfx. Use 1/4 long metal screws under the gfx where they are suppose to go and drill the 2 small holes in the fender for the emblem area, then drill the hole in the rear quarter panel for the stud in the gfx to go into the int where it will be held on by the wing nut.
