I have done searches on the subject and asked questions about the fender mounts on a 91-92 Camaro fender, but mine have me confused at the moment.

I have an 88 Iroc, and the used fenders I bought came off a 91 RS with aero gfx. I have long since chucked my old bondo riddled fenders and now on these other ones the rear mount area has like no bracket or anything to mount it to the body. I am wondering if there is a bracket or something that bolts to the inside rear part of the fender?

I have definately been told and seen through the research that everything mounting-wise is supposed to be the same, but it sure don't look like it on these!

Mike, those look like they've been cut off on the bottom. They look nothing like what's on my 91. Maybe what you have came off a 'vert ? (I've heard something is different about them but never seen a picture).
Below is pic of my 'bird's fender but, it the same on my camaro (the gfx is off the bird so it was easier to get a 'clear' pic). Your fenders should do the same and those tabs on the fender aren't present on either of my cars. The tab sticking off the body (hinge pillar) in your 2nd pic should have a "u" type speed nut to hold a 10mm body bolt. The fender wraps over it and has a hole where the bolt goes through (bolt missing in my pic).

 

You know you just hit the nail on the head.. FRICK!! They are off of a 91 Vert. Mannnnn... What a freakin drag!!!
