1. Go to your local dealership or find one on ebay.

2. It will work on your '87. However, you'll need to fill the holes left by your three-peice spoiler and then drill new ones for the wing. I did it and thought it was worth it.

This is the high rise '91/92 Z28 spoiler you are talking about, right?

I don't think the dealer will have one. Best bet is ebay then one of the restoration companies (year one or classic camaro) or even a junkyard. Bruce may have one at hawks or Roy may have one at thirdgenresource.com (both at the top of the page).

You will have to definately fill the holes in the lid and in the quarter panels.

Buy the wings west one from jegs, its under 200, very well made, and brand new, go to a junkyard and get a decklid from a car with no spoiler, and fill in your old holes in the 1/4's by welding and filler.

I really dont see whats so funny, you got lucky, and got a used one, typically great condition used OEM's go for 200-275 $, his price seemed reasonable to me for a brand new never used piece.

Thats why I bought a factory 1991 Z-28.

I've seen several aftermarket Aero wings and most of them had 2 little drain holes on the wing itself that the factory wing doesn't have. The aftermarket one also makes clear to not cover or fill these holes for some reason. The factory one is a better product! Just my $.02

Ah the misinformation, such fun.

The spoiler2000.com one is made from plastic, poor quality and holes dont line up.

The Wings West spoiler is high quality fiberglass and i'd put it on an equal level with the factory one with the exception that the holes arent exactly the same, most arent using a factory decklid, so its not an issue.

A&A used to make one, its also high quality fiberglass, it isnt available any more but the holes do line up with a factory lid.

The main reason they arent exact copies is probably to keep GM off their backs for copying their parts.

If it was off a '92 Z it was a CAMARO High rise spoiler, NOT a T/A Areo Wing....there's a BIG differance.

Got mine, with the led in it. Dont have any holes to line up seeing how I never had a factory 91 z28. The spoiler 2000.com product i received lines up fine with the rear hatch and body lines of the car. It is made of fiber glass. I couldnt be happier with their product. As for extra holes I cant find any.
but hey thanx for coming out.:lala:

If that thing is fiberglass, it must be either A. very different than the one they sent me. B. same but both a cheap cheap quality.

It was warped long ways and it took much of a fight to get my $ back from them, idiots talking about maybe I had an aftermarket trunk, on a hatch car, etc. Wont buy from em again.

Yep, you got it me too. I had an 84 Z28 and I cloned it to a 1991-1992 Z28. Got hit and it's now totaled. I said heck with making one....so..I went out and bought the real deal....and did some of my own mods. Just for the heck of it....I've checked my local GM dealer on how much a 91-92 highrise spoiler cost's...and they quoted me about $900 dollars....GM

I happen to have the spoiler2000.com wing and am very pleased with it. My wing is fiberglass and not plastic and I had no problems with fitment. I bought the one with the led brake light and it works and looks great.

1. It sure seemed like plastic, at very minimum very very thin fiberglass compared to the others, "the holes dont line up" is referring to a stock 91-92 highrise decklid, and mine was twisted long ways, took too much of a fight to get my money back out of em since they wouldnt send another spoiler out for me to do business with them again.
