Transfering electric window stuff to another door

The doors on my 82 Firebird are very badly rusted at the bottom so I decided to replace them. I bought two used doors which I am getting ready to fit. The biggest problem I see is transferring the electric window stuff from the old doors to the new doors, which are completely stripped. Is it hard to take out the electric window stuff and fit it into another door?. Just by looking at the old doors it looks pretty messy.

it shouldn't be too bad, most of the pieces are riveted in,so you will have drill those out but it is the motor /arm assembly that you should be concerned with. the tracks in the door will be the same, should be a good weekend project.good luck!

I took the electric window parts out of one of my old doors at the weekend. I noticed a difference between the old door and the replacement one. On my old door there is a bracket on inside of the outer door panel that the plastic triangle shaped thing is bolted to. On the new door there is no such bracket, the triangle thing is bolted solely to the rail that the window slides on. But this rail is half the size of the one on the old door as can be seen below. I am wondering will this matter. If GM didn't change the style of window it should be fine. Anyone any experience with this? In the picture below the one on the right is from the old door.
