i want to put a front bumper and ground effects from an 87 Z28 on my 84 Z28. how hard is it to change them over? is it a direct bolt on? thx.

 

Hey man, I just took the front clip of an 87 Z and put it on to my 84 Z. Everything bolted up fine so It should work. I only have the front nose gfx and its not bolted on yet so later I will let you now how it goes.

do you know if the other gfx will bolt on? aren't the 87 gfx a little longer than the 84? if they are then i would want to swich all of it over so it will match up with the front.

 

yea, ive got an 84z h.o. and did the same thing, it all bolts up fine.
To answer your question if you want it to look right then yes you need to use everything from the other car....everything is a little different. The rear bumper and the gfx come down a little further than the 82-84 gfx.
