Foglights - Grille 84 T/a

Ive been noticing that a lot 84 trans ams have actual grilles up front... my car doesnt have the slotted grilles.... theyre just solid.. like panels... with trans am inscribed on the drivers side... is that some kind of option?

also wondering if any 84s had foglights stock?

The solid grilles came on the 84 T/As that had the full wrap around ground effects package. The T/A's without the lower ground fx's got the slotted grilles along with the standard firebirds and S/E's.

Fog lights didn't appear until 85 with the new nose design.

I mounted fog lights behind my slotted grilles.

I have seen people put fog lights on the 84 T/A's. They cut out wholes in the solid panels and affix the lights to it. Looks real bad in my opinion.

I have also seen some people just cut holes to make better air flow to their radiator too.
