lighted gauge needles
does anybody know somewhere that sells lighted gauge needles for our cars...ive seen them before for civics and stuff...lol..yeh...yeh....i know....but i bought reverse indiglo gauges for my car and at night it is extremely hard to tell how fast im going....i have to look at the halo inner part of the gauge

My Trans Am has lighted needles. I believe 90 and after Camaros had the lighted needles. My buddy's 88 IROC does not have lighted needles. His are solid white needles. Notice how Firebirds always got the nifty things before the Camaro; lighted needles, electronic speedometers, etc I don't know if you could take the lighted needles out of a 90 or later Camaro or a Trans Am and put it in your car. That's the only way I know of you can put lighted needles in your car

hmmmmmmmmm..by any chance were the needles lighted by the backlighting that lighted the gauges,,,,when i put my new overlays in i took out aqll the red backlighting

I believe they are lit by the backlighting and the color depends on the thin paint on the back side of the needle.. I could be wrong but I think that's how they work.
