A/C- Heater vents.....

Are the vents in the dash, the adjustable ones, the same in both T/A's and camaro's? Thanks......

Does anyone know for certain, if the vents are interchangable from camaro to firebird? I'm looking to replace mine and would like to find out........

I would like to try this one more time, Has anyone here replaced the A/C vents, the adjustable ones? Are they the same in the camaro and the firebird? Need to replace mine and I want to be sure that they are interchangeable...Thanks

If you are replacing them because they will not stay in position there is a tech article on this site that provides a nifty , inexpensive fix for this that works like a charm. If you are replacing them because they are broken, a sure way to find out if they are the same is call a GM dealer and ask the parts guy.Of course I'm assuming that you do not have the ones from the firebird handy, otherwise you would already know the answer to your question....

i believe the ones on the outer edges of the dash by the doors are the same, the center ones i am pretty sure are different, and 82-84 and 85-92 firebirds the center vents were shaped different too.
if i remember later i'll check my Iroc and look at my Formula and let ya know.

Are you talking about the vents that you see on the dash, or the internal parts? Because if you're just asking if the vents are the same for a firebird and camaro, no they're definatley not. Firebird's vent's are square, and camaro's are rectangular...All of them.
