Herculiner any info would help
I've been watching TV alot lately, and i keep seeing adds for Herculiner and that it is supposed to be great bedliner. I was thinking i could use it as an undercoat for my Firebird, because it is in decent condition underneath, bu the winters in illinois pack a punch on metal. If anyone knows about this stuff, it would be helpful, or if they have any alternatives to my idea, anything but Por15(i don't really trust that stuff)

heh...I'm in illinois (chicago) plowwing through the salt piles and grey slush every winter, i like por-15
You could use ANY sort of bedliner though, "rhino-liner" and a bunch others, all the same....Also, even like a rust-mate epoxy type product would probably work well with a few coats, or a rubberized paint which is kinda like bedliner..Check pep-boys out, just give it lots of good coats and if you really wanna be sure i like to double up on products

i did the entire engine bay with a 1 gallon can of gloss black rustoleum and it is thick. i took a screwdriver just to test it and it scratched but it was hard to do so. i think i will stick with a 20$ gallon of that rather than 35$ a pint of por-15

That bedliner shtuff is really strong, it'll hold up nicely. Just be really careful when you're applying it. You dont want to end up like this guy...http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...0&pagenumber=1
